Long Island weather: Thunderstorms tonight with gusts up to 20 mph

Damaging wind gusts, flash flooding, hail and even an isolated tornado are possible as a system picks up steam by nightfall. But tomorrow and Saturday should be sunny with low humidity, the National Weather Service said.
