According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, Quentin Tarantino made an unexpected early appearance at Cannes, after rushing to finish editing on his latest movie in time to enter it in the world-famous film competition.

Tarantino reportedly surprised movie-goers, joining stare lining up to see "The Wild Goose Lake," a film by China's Diao Yinan which is also competing for the festival's top Palme D'Or prize.
