Uber Makes Another Round Of Layoffs

Uber laid off roughly 350 employees in its third round of major job cuts in 2019.

According to a company-wide email from CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, ATG was affected.

ATG, Uber’s advanced technologies group, works on advancing self-driving cars for the company.

Other units facing “changes” were global rides, platform teams, Uber eats, performance marketing and recruiting.

According to Business Insider, the email indicated the need to restructure “for success.”
