The COVID-19 pandemic has shut down thousands of non-essential businesses across the country, including many floral shops.
But that doesn’t mean the flowers stopped coming in.
Ann Engelbrecht, the owner of Sprout Fine Floral Concepts in Texas, wanted to use the flowers that would have been thrown in the trash, to spread joy instead.
Engelbrecht said she wanted to do something just to make people smile during these difficult times.
