Peaceful Protest Planned for Tomorrow

Damar Tomas has organized a peaceful protest to take place tomorrow.

He would like to see changes in transparency, training in force policies, and releasing standard procedures to the public.

This morning we are hearing from the organizer of a peaceful protest set to take place tomorrow at huntsville city hall.

Rodneya -- what exactly does the organizer want to see happen?

First and foremost -- the organizer -- damar thomas -- told us he wants this protest to be peaceful and safe like the protest on friday.

But he and his co-organizer also plan to share a list of demands with the city of huntsville and huntsville police.

Thomas told us he will be monitoring the crowd to make sure everyone is following the city ordinances.

He told us the goal of the protest is to get the city and police department to make some changes.

Thomas would like to see the police department be more transparent, more police training on force policies, and releasing standard procedures to the public.

"if there are procedures that say when such and such happens, then this force is justified, then we need to see those."
