For the work ahead and this campaign is ready to make history.

Pretty small dent interest the dozens that were made that night.

Many of them from protesters earlier in the day.

Some from restaurant goers having a meal while the unrest unfolded and many from business owners watching their businesses be damaged either in person or through some sort of live feed.

Now, there's a really common theme when i listened back to those calls.

Many people whether were they watching from the streets or again watching from a live feed on tv or facebook, really concerned where are the police officers and why aren't they stepping in.

Now, one of the calls from the general manager here at hotel bennett in the downtown area who described the chaos.

>> we didn't do anything to you.

Why did you do this to me?

>> 911 what's the address emergency?

>> i'm at 404 hotel bennett.

I need help.

>> partner sending help.

Are you in a specific room?

>> i'm in the lobby of hotel bennett 404 king street, i'm under siege, windows busted out and people all over the place throwing bricks, water bottles, everything else.

I need help.

>> with so many calls coming in dispatchers really had to prioritize which emergencies they could get officers to and confirming, you know, they did have officers downtown doing the very best that they could.

Now, we did serkle back with chef ruth -- circle back with chief luther reynolds and strategy doing the best they resources.

Few boards still on some of the windows but for now it is moving forward as usual.
