There will be more masks but less students in the room.>01:54:22-01:54:42"the classroom sizes will be greatly reduced and we we will have two different in house groups to work with and then we will have online students.

I don't know how exactly all of that is put together in terms of what teachers will cover what things, but that's the plan as i understand it anyways."

Albright says whether it's on site or remote, it's going to be an adjustment for everyone.she's looking forward to the official plan next week.> 01:59:06-01:59:06"a lof of it deals with technology.

There's some enhancement in that regard.

Trying to teach old dogs like me some new tricks so we feel comfortable with it."fort wayne community school district spokesperson krista stockman says the date being pushed back will give the district five days to work with teachers and other staff on some of the new things going on this year and working on remote learning.> 00:01:04-00:01:27"how to record lessons that students can watch later or what are some good strategies when you are engaging with students virtually.

In the spring, we didn't have time to train teachers and so teachers learned a lot in that live scenario."she says a large number of parents have already selected whether students will be remote or on site, there's still about 10,000 more responses they are waiting on 00:02:00-00:02:18"we had about over 19,000 students make a selection of remote or in person learning.

That's about 2/3rds of our students and of those families who made selections, about 40% chose remote learning."

The option for parents to select remote learning is still available.

They just can't go online and do it.

Starting monday you can call the school your child will be attending and let them know your preference.
