An Air India Express flight travelling from Dubai to Calicut crashed after overshooting the runway at Kozhikode airport in Kerala, south India today (August 7).
Footage provided by airport officials shows the wrecked fuselage of the aircraft, while emergency workers are on the scene.
The plane was carrying nearly 200 passengers when it crashed at 7:41pm IST, and rescue efforts are still ongoing to extract passengers.
