Grace Evangelical BBQ (8-10-20)

All that hard work by volunteers and flood victims -- lifting building materials and packing their cars... grace evangelical church brought lunch.

Bbq was the menu...with 15 cases or 200 slabs of ribs.

The bbq was handed out at valley community center and keys christian fellowship church... as well as dropped off at homes to those on the southend who can't leave their homes.

Pastors say feeding their neighbors is the right thing to do.

(sot ) "so we are serving meals for all the families affected by the flood.

We had ribs donated to interserv from triumph, they got them to us.

Rib crib were able to smoke and season them this week.

So, we baked potato casserole, beans, corn on the cob, rolls.

We just want to be able to provide a physical need to those affected by all this."

And good news... the food will keep on coming.

The grace evangelical church will continue feeding the southside every saturday for the rest of august.
