Saturday Evening Weather
Saturday Evening Weather

16 WAPT meteorologist Christana Kay has the forecast for Jackson and Central Mississippi.

Well, we had another hot day here today.Reached a high around 94 degreestemperatures this morning.

We're around70 and around 50 clock this evening.Still lots of clear skies, A fewpassing clouds, temperatures still inthe low nineties.

But we're going tocontinue to slowly fall into theeighties by seven o'clock, 85 by eight81.

As we head into the later part ofthe evening hours.

We're going to bemainly clear overnight tonight, alittle bit less human as we head to theearly parts of the morning hours.Temperatures waking up anywhere between68 to 72 degrees is thinking the rangefor tomorrow morning, but the afternoonhours were back in the mid to lownineties.

Sunny hot wants to get a fewafternoon showers.

Can't be ruled outas well.

Those clear out as we had tothe overnight hours, a little bit of abreeze, lower humidity as we head intothe morning hours of Mondaytemperatures back in the upper sixtiesto low 70.

So tracking this out for youagain, we had that first front.

That'skind of sink gone through, alreadyclearing out our skies overnighttonight, and we'll start the day off.Mainly clear, but watch what happenswhen the secondary front starts to makeits way into Mississippi.

We could seea few popcorn showers and maybe anisolated thunderstorm develop as wehead to the later part of the afternoon.Early evening hours and that's lowly isgoing to make its way through overnightSunday into the majority of Monday.

Soagain, a few showers and a thunderstormor two can't be ruled out Sundayafternoon and early evening.

Butoverall, it's going to remain fairlyisolated and behind that front, or dopoints dropping from the mid seventiesto the Mitchell Low sixties.

And thatmeans not as human a lot morecomfortable air in place, especially bythe middle of the week that highpressure filtering and northerly windsmaking it feel whole lot more on thetolerable range.

Now it is showing byWednesday a little bit into the humanrange.

I think we're going to stickaround that tolerable, thanks to theDew point, staying in the mid to lowsixties for the majority of next week,so tracking the tropics real quick, wehave to disturbances.

Tropical stormjustifying Tropical Storm Kyle.

Both ofthem are staying.

It's fish storms. Noeffect to the United States whatsoever. So it is staying calm in our neck ofthe woods.

But the Atlantic things werestarting to brew on up.

What I mean bythat is we don't necessarily have anactive advisor on this one yet justcoming off the west coast of Africa. But I think this is going to be ournext area to watch over the coming days. But back here at home again.

For thenext seven days, we're gonna be stayingdry, as especially as we head into theworkweek.

Mostly clear skies.

Rainchances start to go on the increase aswe head to the later part of next weekinto the weekend.
