Grade schools aren't the only ones starting back up again in vigo county.

Indiana state university also had its first day of school today.

The vice president of academic affairs says he's beyond excited to see students back on campus.

He says isu's plan is to abide by public health protocols and constantly monitor covid-19 numbers.

They also have many sanitizing and social distance precautions into place.

They will be evaluating all scenarios on a day by day basis.

All students and employees also have to complete daily health monitoring.

The school encourages those who have covid-19 symptoms to seek guidance from health providers.

The college says they are committed to keeping the campus safe for everyone.
