General Secretary of BJP, Kailash Vijayvargiya on October 26 slammed former chief minister of Kamal Nath by saying he used poor language and it damaged the reputation of Madhya Pradesh. He said, "Use of poor language by Kamal Nath has damaged the reputation of Madhya Pradesh. You can criticise your opponents even with use of good words available in Hindi. Kamal Nath has got property worth crores but mentally, he is impoverished."
The BJP has released its manifesto for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election and the focus seems to be on jobs, healthcare and the education sector. The manifesto was released by Union Finance Minister and BJP leader Nirmala Sitharaman and senior leaders Bhupender Yadav, Nityanand Rai, Ashwini Choubey, and Pramod Kumar. The BJP promised to provide free Covid vaccination to all in the state once it was developed. The manifesto comes a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi hits the campaign trail. The BJP's manifesto speaks about the Prime Minister's vision of making 'Atmanirbhar Bihar'. The party has also promised to provide medical, engineering and technical education in Hindi and promised to appoint 3 lakh new teachers across different levels in the next year. This comes as the Mahagathbandhan in its manifesto has promised 10 lakh jobs in its very first cabinet meet if elected to power. Bihar will vote in three phases between October 28th and November 7th. Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut hit out at Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, calling him “petty person”. Kangana, who has been at loggerheads with the Maharashtra government, attacked the CM over the latter’s recent “ganja” comment. "You should be ashamed of yourself chief minister, being a public servant you are indulging in petty fights, using your power to insult, damage, and humiliate people who don’t agree with you, you don’t deserve the chair you have acquired by playing dirty politics. A woman was caught on camera thrashing a policeman in Mumbai. The incident occurred at Kalbadevi in Maharashtra's capital. The woman reportedly accused the cop of abusing her. She was seen holding him by his shirt's collar and slapping him repeatedly. Eventually, a female cop intervened to stop her. Reports said that two people, including the woman, were arrested. Fire at Mumbai’s City Centre Mall brought under control after more than 18 hours. 88 tankers and over 250 firemen were deployed at the spot in Nagpada area. Four firemen and one deputy fire officer suffered injuries. Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Aadiyta Thackeray visited the area and took stock of the situation. Fire broke out at a shop in the mall at 8.53pm on October 22. The blaze escalated to brigade call (level 5) at 2.41am on Oct 23. At least 3,500 residents of a neighbouring 55-storey building were also evacuated. The cause of the fire is not known yet. Watch the full video for more.
