A small donation collection turned into an overwhelming and empowering community response.

Overwhelming amount.

"i was kinda was laying in bed one night and decided i was just gonna take some of my stuff and ask a couple of friends."

So she reached out freind mikaela sanders and began posting on facebook...looking for any and all donations that could be of help to fire evacuees.

"growing up in this community, we have both seen first hand that everybody has their need and their own struggle so if there's any small way that we can be apart of making somebodies day better or helping those needs..then that's what i think drives up.

Tyree's property in sweet home has turned into a community donation center where they accept food, clothing, furniture, books and more.

"you name it, we probably have it.

And the biggest part is that if we don't have it here.

We will find it."

And as these woman pay it in forward in their local communities - they've received a lot of help.....their most dedicated volunteers being their own kids.

"to see them so involved and their hearts expanding and growing and understanding like what it is to serve somebody else and help somebody else has been a huge blessing."

(bridge) now the donations haven't stopped pouring in, but they're running out of space.

The donation center is looking for some help with indoor storage to keep items in the best, available condition.
