Because of the extra precautions being taken to avoid a rise in covid-19 numbers... people won't be able to attend the races in person.

Christa:"what makes keeneland so special is our fans and we're located right here in the horse capital of the world and it's paramount that our fans are able to celebrate these 17 days of racing and they'll find ways to celebrate and we're going to be just so excited to welcome them back when it's safe to do so."

Marrillia says they're also working with local restaurants, bars and other attractions to create some fun celebrations for fans to get into the fall meet spirit.
