New information tonight... the roseburg lawfirm that intends to sue pacific power for allegedly starting the archie creek fire has brought on two out of state attorneys to fight the case with them.

Kezi 9 news reporter evita garza shows us why the attorneys are confident they will win.

Texas based attorney mikal watts says he didn know anything about douglas county or the archie creek fire until a few weeks ago.

Now, he says he do anything for the fire victims here.

He was brought on to the pending lawsuit against pacific power a few weeks ago.

Roseburg lawfirm dole coalwell is leading the case& they claim pacific power failed to clear a tree after it knocked a power line down the night before the fire.

They said pacific power turned the power back on& and started the fire.

This was not a fire that began for a lighting strike.

It was not a fire that started by arson.

It a fire that started because of pacific power equipment?

They helped fire victims in paridise california get a 13 billion dollar settlement from pacific gas and electric in 2018.

With the evidence they have& watts says they intend to do it again.?i anticipate pacific power is going to end up paying for the damages this fire caused?

In a statement from pacific power, they said they are unable to comment on pending litigation.

Dole coalwell is hosting a town hall next thursday in the gilide high school gym.

Watts says hel be there?in person?to answer questions.
