2020 Mayors' Thanksgiving Dinner to be TV Special

Blake Haynes from Second Harvest joins us to share details of the upcoming virtual 2020 Mayors Thanksgiving Dinner, an event to help address childhood hunger across the region

" 2,020 tv special coming up with all of our viewers know it will happen, but tonight blake will be with us tonight.

Tell us about this event, it is very different than previous dinners which happen at the arena.

>> absolutely.

This is a long-standing thanksgiving tradition here in the community.

It will look different because as we know normally reset at the arena and will be a virtual event this year to november 3 that is a thursday will be hosting this site will be 11:00 am until noon, then again at night from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

There is a lot of great opportunity to give back to those in need this to go back to service to everyone in the county so it is not just a sublocation the opportunity like i was saying to give back that say that we are able to provide meals for every dollar donation is achieved that is 3000 meals were able to provide for this challenge for those in need.

You can check this out on the website tickets can be purchased there or you can call to purchase those tickets from the overall with those two things going on in this year looks so much different than years before so you want to make sure this event is safe for those morning to attend, and this is the perfect way to do it to hosted through kq2 you have done a phenomenal job so to you and all the sponsors who made this opportunity so successful and be able to happen this year with everything going on.

It is just amazing to see everybody come together for this event.

It's hard to do their but there are kids like their core just like i was from one in three children suffer in this area and we need to raise money.
