Ice Cream Flavor Named After Vice President-Elect Harris

Lexington ice cream shop introduces "Kamala Pecan" in honor of Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris.

New tonight at 9-- lexington is now --- the home of vice president elect kamala harris's namesake ice cream.

The bluegrass shop -- "crank and boom craft ice cream" is selling "kamala pecan".

It's a play on caramel pecan.

Shop owner toa green and the vice- president elect have some things in common.

Both are asian- americans - who are daughter of immigrants -- and have interracial marriages.

(take sot) green says: "when she was elected, i, along with, i'm sure, many other people in this country, felt seen, felt excited to have somebody that looked like us to have a voice in a place where someone like us had never had a voice, previously."

The ice cream shop -- donated 2-dollars of every pre- order of kamala pecan--- to a fund that helps single mothers.
