McCann solicitor reacts to exclusion of soldiers' statements

The solicitor for the family of Official IRA leader Joe McCann, who was shot dead in 1972, reacts after a Belfast court ruled statements made by two former paratroopers accused of his murder should be excluded as evidence in their trial.Laganside Court in Belfast heard that the prosecution accepted that if the evidence was excluded the charges against the defendants must fail.

The prosecution is considering an appeal against the ruling.
