OF HURRICANE IDA IN LOUISIANA.SIX DOGS AND 14 CATS ARRIVED ATTHE SHELTER TODAY.THEY WERE FLOWN INTO MANASSASAND THEN DRIVEN DOWN TORICHMOND.THE PETS WERE RESCUED BY THE"BISSELL PET FOUNDATION"....THEY ARE RELOCATING HUNDREDS OFANIMALS IN 10PARTNER SHELTERS.THE GOAL OF THE EVACUATION WASTO CLEAR SPACE IN LOUISIANASHELTERS FOR THE CATS AND DOGSWHO MAY HAVE BECOME SEPARATEDFROM THEIR OWNERS DURING THESORTM.EACH ANIMAL WILL BE EVALUATED BYA VET AT THE S- P-C-A...AND THEN THEY'LL BE UP FORADOPTION.
