Glenwood Springs Middle School science teacher Autumn Rivera is now one of four finalists for the National Teacher of the Year honor awarded by the Council of Chief State School Officers.
Rivera became eligible for the award when she was named Colorado’s 2022 Teacher of the Year in October.
She's is Colorado's first finalist for National Teacher of the Year since 1994.
