University of Minnesota launches fleet of life-saving SUVs with $18.6M grant

The University of Minnesota has publicly launched what it calls the Minnesota Mobile Resuscitation Consortium (MMRC), or a fleet of SUVs loaded with life-saving tech. The SUVs are equipped with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, or ECMO, machines, which can help to resuscitate cardiac-arrest victims outside of a hospital.
