Northam orders Northern Virginia to remain closed until late May

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam on Tuesday signed an executive order authorizing Northern Virginia to reopen its economy more slowly than the rest of the state. Under Executive Order 62, the region will remain under “Phase Zero” of Northam’s reopening plan until 11:59 p.m. May 28.
