Atlanta United, MLS teams inch closer to resuming 2020 season

Atlanta United is headed back on the pitch. Major League Soccer and the MLS Players Association have struck a new collective bargaining agreement, paving the way to resume the 2020 season, the league announced on Wednesday. MLS commissioner Don Garber told media the players agreed to a 5 percent pay cut and that league will take a $1 billion revenue hit from the fallout of Covid-19.
