Restaurants in San Francisco will be allowed to begin outdoor service on June 12 under a plan announced by Mayor London Breed. In order to give restaurants the ability to seat additional diners while also adhering to social distancing standards, San Francisco is giving businesses the option to apply for the Shared Spaces Program, which allows the use of public spaces like sidewalks, parking lanes, streets and nearby parks.
