The North Carolina General Assembly passed a couple of significant bills related to Covid-19 before adjourning on Friday, but it failed to agree on a solution that would make it legal to wear masks in North Carolina after Aug. 1. The legislators are not expected back in Raleigh until September but some said they would continue to work on legislation to deal with the mask issue.
