With Lord & Taylor's bankruptcy, Back Bay to lose longstanding retail tenant

Lord & Taylor bills itself as the oldest department store chain in the U.S. The clothing retailer has had a presence in Back Bay’s Prudential Center since 1968, but now one of the most prominent storefronts in Back Bay is set to close its doors.
