Charlotte’s youth get vital first-hand work experience through city’s Mayor’s Youth Employment Program

Sydnie Wardlaw, a freshman at Howard University who graduated from Bradford Preparatory School last year, wanted to be a doctor when she applied for the Mayor’s Youth Employment Program (MYEP), and she was thrilled when she was placed in a healthcare work experience with Atrium Health this past summer.
