Toyota executive on why company chose Triad for 'mutually beneficial partnership'

The planned Toyota electrified vehicle battery manufacturing plant at Greensboro-Randolph Megasite will open in 2025 with a goal of 1.2 million battery packs per year. As the company plans to sell 1.8 million electrified vehicles per year, the $1.29 billion investment and 1,750 jobs could be just the start.
