American Airlines and JetBlue say they will end their partnership in New York and Boston next week. The decision announced Friday comes after a federal judge ruled that the alliance antitrust law. Customers of each airline will have until July 21 to buy tickets on the other carrier and still earn frequent-flyer points. JetBlue is not appealing the judge's ruling to disband the partnership because it wants to focus on saving its proposed purchase of Spirit Airlines. The Justice Department sued to block both the JetBlue deal with American and JetBlue's acquisition of Spirit.
