Adan Canto, the versatile actor known for his roles in 'The Cleaning Lady,' 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' and 'Designated Survivor,' passed away at 42 after a private battle with appendiceal cancer. Born in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico, Canto began his entertainment journey in Texas. He explored music and eventually starred in Pedro Almodóvar's 'All About My Mother.' Canto's acting career started in 2009 with 'Estado de Gracia' and continued to rise with roles in 'The Following,' 'Mixology,' and 'Narcos.' In 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' he portrayed Sunspot.
