O.J. Simpson dies after battle with cancer

O.J. Simpson has passed away. The decorated football star and Hollywood actor, who was acquitted of charges he killed his former wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman but wound up in prison years later in an unrelated case died Wednesday, his family said in a statement on his X account. His attorney confirmed to TMZ that Simpson died in Las Vegas. Simpson said last year that he was battling prostate cancer.
