Amid H3N2 flu, daily Covid cases in India cross 800 after 4 months; 76 samples of new XBB.1.16 variant found

Former AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria has said the rise in Covid cases seems to be driven by the XBB 1.16 variant while the influenza cases are because of H3N2.
