LAC standoff: India, China hold fifth round of major-general talks

India and China held another round of major-general level talks in eastern Ladakh on Friday in a bid to defuse the ongoing troop confrontation in the Galwan Valley region, even as defence minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the operational situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with the military brass in the Capital.
