Domestic help's daughter tops Jharkhand Class XII board exams

The daughter of a tailor and a domestic help has emerged as the Arts topper in the Jharkhand Academic Council Class XII (intermediate) board exams, the results of which were announced on Friday evening. A student of Jamshedpur Women’s College (JWC), Nandita secured 419 of 500 marks. “I was expecting a good result, but I never thought I would become the state topper,” she told TOI.
