Delhi: Dashboard footage helps nab accused in hit-and-run case

In a first-of-its-kind case, footage from a dashboard camera led the police to a man who had knocked a scooter with his speeding car in west Delhi’s Rajouri Garden on Tuesday. The scooter rider had succumbed to his wounds two days later. The accident was caught in the dashcam of a car that was moving right behind the scooter and the offending vehicle, with the help of which police managed to nab the accused on Thursday.
