Assam polls: Did Nadda break BJP's 'cautious silence' on CAA?

The BJP may have scored a self goal over the release of its manifesto on Tuesday for the upcoming Assam assembly elections. While the manifesto did not mention the implementation of the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), party president JP Nadda, who released the ‘Sankalp Patra’, said the legislation would be implemented in the state.
