20 cases of new Delta-plus variant in India, 8 in Maharashtra

The count of samples that have tested positive for the emerging Delta-plus variant has reached nearly 20 in the country, experts confirmed on Sunday. Maharashtra accounts for at least eight of these cases with almost all being reported from Ratnagiri.
