Two Puducherry independent MLAs spent Rs 2 lakh each for polls

In a territory where cash, liquor and valuables flow freely to entice voters, two independent candidates elected to the legislative assembly of the Union territory in the April 2021 polls have claimed that they have spent little more than Rs 2 lakh each for their poll campaigns.
