India reports rise in daily new COVID-19 infections, 648 deaths in 24 hours

According to the Union Health Ministry data, India reported 37,593 new COVID-19 cases and 648 deaths in the last 24 hours. During this period, the country reported total of 34,169 recoveries, the data showed.
