Haryana village names houses after daughters & ‘bahus’

Mayyar village of Hisar district is breaking the stereotype with families voluntarily putting names of their daughters and daughter in laws on nameplates outside their houses. The village, now under Hisar city limits, has 1,500 houses and a population of 7,000 people. Now, each and every house is identified with the help of female members of the family.
