Man killed for calling neighbour's pet dog a 'dog' in Tamil Nadu

A 62-year-old man was killed by his neighbours for calling their pet dog a 'dog' and not by its name in Dindigul district on Thursday, reports Arockiaraj J. Police said Nirmala Fatima Rani and her sons Daniel and Vincent, of Ulagampattiarkottam in Thadikombu police limits, had warned Rayappan, their relative and neighbour, several times not to refer to their pet as a dog.
