Elephants kill 9, mostly women, in a week in Bengal forests

In two separate incidents, two women were killed by elephants in West Midnapore on Sunday. There have been nine deaths from elephant attacks in eight days in Kharagpur and Jhargram forest divisions, officers said. Among the dead, five were women.
