Under Congress, trifurcation of Karnataka's Belagavi may become a reality

With Congress taking over the reins of the state with a thumping majority, the bifurcation or trifurcation of Belagavi, one of the biggest districts in terms of size and politics, may finally become a reality. The demand to divide the district was first proposed in 1997.
