Trial run for Bengaluru's first kambala today

Kambala, a traditional buffalo race from coastal Karnataka, is set to make its debut in Bengaluru. The event, called Namma Kambala, will take place at Palace Grounds and aims to showcase the richness of the sport to the world. The organizers have made arrangements to ensure the event is hassle-free, including providing food and water for the buffaloes. The event is open to all and free of charge, with an expected attendance of 2-3 lakh visitors. Several actors with Tulunadu origins, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Shetty, have been invited to attend.
