British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak traced his Punjabi Indian heritage and extended greetings on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. He celebrated the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of the Sikh religion. Sunak highlighted the immense contribution of British Sikhs to the UK and expressed pride and inspiration. He also mentioned his familial roots in the Indian subcontinent and his role as the UK's first Indian-origin Chancellor at No 11 Downing Street.
