India presented excellent example of balance between ecology and economy before world: PM Narendra Modi

PM Modi lauds India's capability to meet NDC targets and achieve a balance between ecology and economy. India's contribution to global carbon emissions is less than 4% despite having 17% of the world's population. At the Cop28 summit, PM Modi expressed gratitude for support on climate justice, finance, and green credit. India aims to reduce emissions intensity by 45% by 2030 and increase non-fossil fuel share to 50%. The goal is to achieve net zero emissions by 2070.
