BJP poised to sweep MP, on course to majority in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh; Congress ahead in Telangana

The BJP is poised for a dominant performance in the Hindi heartland states, with a two-thirds majority in Madhya Pradesh and comfortable victories in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. The Congress is set to win Telangana for the first time, shocking the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi. While the BJP is leading in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, the Congress has an edge in Chhattisgarh and is leading in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The Congress is currently in power only in Himachal Pradesh and is part of the government in Bihar.
