Three MP officials held guilty for not complying with SC order

MP high court holds Mohd Suleman, additional chief secretary of gas relief department, and two officials from National Informatics Centre (NIC) guilty for not complying with a 2012 Supreme Court order on a PIL for medical care of Bhopal gas victims. Amar Kumar Sinha and Vijay Kumar Vishwakarma, state information officers in NIC, are also held guilty. The court directs the registry to frame charges against other respondents. NGOs and the apex court authorized monitoring committee raise concerns about non-availability of doctors and digitization of medical records in gas relief hospitals, including Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre (BMHRC).
