MCD to showcase how it has turned more than 1,000 tonnes of waste into ‘wonder’ art

Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) plans to showcase its waste-to-art projects at the Swachh Survekshan 2023 award ceremony. MCD's horticulture department has made at least 200 sculptures using scrap material and metal waste for various theme parks. They will also share descriptions of upcoming waste-to-art projects, including a heritage park with miniatures of UNESCO monuments.
