Hindu side moves SC for ASI survey of 'Shivling' in sealed area of Gyanvapi mosque

Hindu women plaintiffs in the Varanasi court seek direction from the Supreme Court for a scientific survey by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to determine the nature and features of a 'Shivling' found at Varanasi's Gyanvapi mosque. They also requested the vacation of the top court's previous order deferring the survey.
